The Ubuntu 10.10 GNOME desktop allows the background to be changed either to a solid or graded color, or to any image you choose to specify. In this chapter of Ubuntu Desktop Essentials we will look at changing the desktop background.
In this chapter we have looked at changing the Ubuntu desktop background. In the next chapter we will look at installing and customizing Ubuntu Desktop Themes.
